(1) Heat treatment:
Via setting up the appropriate quenching & tempering temperature and quenchant, over 95% of austenite translates into lath-shaped martensite and form small and uniform tempered sorbite organizations. Residual stress inside tube can be max reduced by thermal straightening.
(2) Threading:
Using advanced high-precision CNC threading machine to ensure the precision of threads. Combined with individual processing of the threads’ surface, the anti-bonding property of casing’s coupling can be improved greatly, so can other performances.
(3) Casing should have the properties of high strength, super high strength (160ksi)，and good impact toughness to avoid brittle failure when using. High strength and super high strength steel grade, which is higher than Q125 developed by JST, aims in the using of special casing under above mentioned environmental conditions.

6. High Collapse Casing Series
 Product characteristics
Based on the development requirements of oil gas well JST’S high collapse casing series have following features:
3 Rounder, ellipse small diameter—Ellipse ≤0.5%;
4 Thickness of high precision, poor little-the same section inequality degree ≤9.5%;
5 High strength, stable organization and performance—steel purity (P 0.020%, S≤0.010%); Heat treatment furnace temperature control precision≤5℃.
6 Low residual stress-Heat treatment after high tempering adopts heat straightening, control end straightening temperature ≥450℃.
